> Payment Procedure for Products or Locations that do not have Cash on DeliveryExpatMart - The best online shopping for expats in China / 2008-08-12
Here is the procedure for purchasing products or delivery to locations that do not offer Cash on Delivery.
Please transfer money from your bank to any of accounts listed in the chart at the bottom. The purchase can be finished in 3 simple steps:
1. Make the bank transfer to either of the accounts listed in the chart(be sure to read our tips);
2. Take the receipt as your own record, and notify us through email at order@expatmart.com;;
3. We will check the transfer a.s.a.p and arrange for delivery the same day. We will send you notification email and approximate delivery date as well.
Please note the following transfer tips to save you time and money
1. We encourage you to use intra bank services, i.e. if you have China Merchant Bank , then transferring money from your China Merchant account to our China Merchant Bank account is the easiest, fastest and cheapest. If your account is opened in Beijing, then intrabank transfer is free of charge and will arrive in our account within minutes. And you can do a transfer at the ATM without waiting in line, just need to input our account/card number(depending on the prompt message) twice and the transfer amount.
2. If your bank account is opened outside Beijing, you will need to walk into a branch and go to the teller to do the bank transfer. You can print out our information and the teller can help you fill out the form. There will be a transfer fee charged by the bank. It varies depending on the bank, but normally it is no more than 1% of the transfer amount or 50 rmb, which ever is lower. The transfer should reach on within hours.
3. If you do not have accounts opened in any of the following bank, you can make the transfer to us through interbank transfer. Please print out our account information, and give to the teller of your bank, they will guide you to fill out the form. There will be a transfer fee charged by the bank. It varies depending on the bank, but normally it is no more than 1% of the transfer amount or 50 rmb, which ever is lower. The transfer should reach us within 24 hours if your bank account is Beijing, or 2 to 3 days if your account is located outside Beijing.
4. Finally, if you have online banking, it would be easiest; since you can complete the transfer without leaving your seat no matter which bank you have or which city you are in. Typically, online banking transfer charge is very reasonable. However, if you do not read Chinese, you have to inquire if they have English versions of their secure online banking.
